New IYP Features

Filed under: Flight Simulator News — admin @ 6:05 am
It’s Your Plane (IYP) announces the release of its latest Revision - 3.1.4.100. The new technology allows IYP users to ask their trusty co-pilot (Michelle or Mike) for important pre or in-flight information about their aircraft such as:

What is our maximum gross weight in kilos?
What is our maximum gross weight in pounds?
What is our gross weight in kilos?
What is our gross weight in pounds?
What is our zero fuel weight in kilos?
What is our zero fuel weight in pounds?
What is our total fuel in kilos?
What is our total fuel in pounds?
What is our total fuel in gallons?
What is our total fuel in litres?

The information obtained by using the voice commands listed above is also extremely helpful when programming the FMC (Flight Management Computer).

An early New Year Present from IYP!
The new software also includes the Free Version of the Cessna 172SP Skyhawk, which was originally scheduled for release on January 1, 2009.

Since we flew ahead of ourselves and released the new Revision a few days early, we will honour the original IYP price of 34.95 Euros for the IYP Full Feature Version (as we have been doing for the last few days) until mid-night December 31/January 1 (PST- Pacific Standard Time).

The Best Flight Training Tool - IYP!
Many of our customers have written to tell us how great IYP is as a teaching tool for the beginning simmer. By permitting the voice-activation of all aircraft functionality as well as ATC communications, Michelle (the IYP built-in instructor / co-pilot) sits along side the new pilot and walks them through each step of the process… from ramp to ramp.

Whether you are a long-time simmer or new to the flight simulator world, click here to watch some of IYP’s Video Presentations that assist pilots in learning to fly both GA (General Aviation) and Jetliners.
