Is the future of the MS Flight Simulator series in doubt?

Flight Sim World is receiving reports today of changes taking place at Microsoft's ACES Studio, the development group behind the current generation of the Microsoft Flight Simulator series. While reports differ regarding the extremes to which action is being taken at ACES, they all contain news of layoffs at Flight Sim's home base. Follow the discussion here for news as we receive it.
